Mesa View Elementary Bond Work
Before bond-funded work began, Mesa View Elementary was in fair condition with several significant facility needs. The most critical included aging HVAC makeup air units, worn flooring, outdated restrooms and door hardware, site paving improvements, and recommended replacement of light fixtures. There is also an upcoming, though not urgent, need to replace the roof. From an educational standpoint, the school needed modernized special education and small group spaces, a better-located main office, improved acoustics and lighting in classrooms, and music room upgrades.
Bond-funded projects at Mesa View Elementary are improving building safety systems and key student spaces, including the cafeteria and multi-purpose room, to better support students and staff.
