State Marching Band Championships Monday at Stocker

Grand Junction, CO – Twenty-four Marching Bands from across the state – including Palisade High School – will compete Monday, Nov. 4, 2019, in the Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA) Class 1A-3A State Championships at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction.

Palisade High School will perform in the semifinals at 3:30 p.m. 


Class 1A-2A field shows: 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., with awards at 12:15.

Class 3A field shows: 1:00-3:45 p.m., with awards at 4 p.m. 


Class 1A field shows: 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Class 2A field shows: 6:30-7:15 p.m.

Class 3A field shows: 7:30-8:45 p.m.

Awards: 9 p.m.

Tickets to the semifinals will be $11 for adults, free for children 9 or younger, and $9 for students and senior citizens (age 60+). Tickets to the final round will be $12 for adults, free for children 9 or younger, and $10 for students and senior citizens. Combination tickets to attend both the semifinals and finals are $20 for adults, free for kids 9 or younger, and $17 for students and seniors. 

The state championship will bring thousands of students and spectators to the stadium. Parking will be extremely limited at Lincoln Park all day. Please arrive early to find a parking space in the neighborhood. The only parking available from the 12th Street entrance is parking for people who are handicapped, and the Gunnison Avenue entrance is for marching bands.
