Grand Junction, CO - Mesa County Valley School District 51 is building a Strategic Plan this fall and is seeking your input through a series of listening sessions.

The creation of a strategic plan involves gathering public input about the community’s vision for the district, finding trends in that feedback and using it to outline a set of priorities, then setting measurable targets for achieving goals in line with those priorities. A Strategic Plan Steering Committee will take input from listening sessions that took place in early 2020 and listening sessions scheduled for this fall and build a draft plan for the D51 School Board by the end of 2021.

The district will be hosting the listening sessions virtually, and they will all take place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Click the links below to register. * Sept. 14 (in Spanish) * Sept. 16 (in English) * Sept. 20 (in English) * Sept. 21 (in Spanish) * Sept. 29 (in English)
