Bookcliff Middle School is in shelter-in-place. During shelter-in-place, all exterior doors are locked, only limited movement is allowed inside the building, no one is allowed in or out of the building, and school phones are not answered. Updates will be posted here as they become available.

D51 teams with local partners to inspire young scientists

Grand Junction, CO – School District 51, the Western Colorado Community Foundation, and Eureka! McConnell Science Museum hope to inspire students by screening “Inventing Tomorrow,” a documentary tracking the lives of high school students from across the globe as they participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair, for District 51 parents, students, staff, and community members on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020. The screening is free and will begin at 6 p.m. at the Avalon Theatre, 645 Main St.
