Leadership D51 offers business and community members and parents the opportunity to:
- Understand the school district's mission, operations, and strategic priorities
- Learn from and meet District 51 staff
- Connect with other passionate community members and parents
- Become a more active participant in District 51 Schools
Who should apply?
- Aspiring community leaders
- Working professionals
- Passionate community members
- Current parents of D51 students
- Non-profit employees
- District 51 advocates
Applications
- Deadline: Friday, September 20
- Applicants are asked to commit to all four meetings. If you cannot attend one or more meetings, please apply in 2025-2026
Selection
- Depending on the number of applicants, all applicants may not be accepted into this year's program. However, every effort will be made to ensure that every applicant is provided an opportunity to partner with their school or district in some way.
- Criteria:
- Evidence of leadership
- Aspire to participate in future D51 family and/or community partnership opportunities or be an advocate on behalf of the district
- Commitment to the D51 Core beliefs as described in our strategic plan:
- D51 focuses on the whole learner to foster growth and high achievement
- D51 Believes in the strength of our people, our schools, and our communities
- D51 values individuality, inclusivity, and belonging
- D51 commits to continuous improvement
