Preparing Students to Present at the Expo

Suggested Presentation Preparations for Students Thinking of Being a Presenter in a Booth at the Upcoming Technology Expo

  1. As Expo attendees stop by your booth - open by introducing yourself.
  2. Introduce your project/technology and engage the audience.
  3. Showcase your project and present your learning.
  4. Briefly discuss how you created your project and why you chose the delivery method. For example, if you created a video to persuade the audience on a topic, why did you (and your group) feel this was the best outlet?
  5. Address about what you like best, what you learned, the challenges you've faced, and what your would consider doing different next time.
  6. Thank your audience.
