Meetings

The Board of Education meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The meeting schedule may vary in November (Election Day & Thanksgiving), December (Winter Break), March (Spring Break), and May (Graduations). Please see below to access meeting dates, agendas, and minutes. Agendas (and materials, when available) are posted at least 24 hours in advance.

• Board of Education Work Session: A Work Session to discuss educational and business issues shall be scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month. Business items may be added to the agenda when necessary. 
• Board of Education Business Meeting: A Business Meeting shall be scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month, and Special Meetings may be called, as needed.

Board meetings are conducted to carry on the business of the schools and, therefore, are not public meetings; but are meetings held in public. Meetings are open to the public except during executive sessions, which are held to discuss matters which, by law, are confidential.

*AUDIENCE COMMENTS ARE ACCEPTED DURING THE BUSINESS MEETING, WHICH TYPICALLY TAKES PLACE ON THE THIRD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH
