In District 51, the Library Media Services Department manages school libraries, providing diverse resources and technology support for student learning. They collaborate with educators, offer professional development, and organize literacy initiatives to foster a culture of reading and lifelong learning.

NOTE TO STAFF: District 51's online resources site provides access to a collection of databases and web links for teachers, librarians, administrators, and other staff to support classroom instruction, personal development, and professional growth. The virtual library also provides access to all of our schools' library collections, from which books and other items can be borrowed for staff use, as well as a link to the Marmot Library Network of libraries. Once a desired item has been located, staff may place a Hold or contact their school's librarian who can request the material.
