Student Surveys

About Our Student Surveys

Every year, District 51 conducts a variety of student surveys to better understand and support the needs of our students. These surveys give students an opportunity to share their experiences, provide feedback, and help shape a positive and supportive learning environment across all schools.

The surveys cover topics such as school climate, safety, wellness, and student perceptions of programs. Results from these surveys are used by schools and the district to:

  • Improve programs and services
  • Monitor student well-being and engagement
  • Support academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Guide strategic planning and decision-making

Some surveys are anonymous, while others are not—depending on their purpose and whether immediate support for students may be needed. Families always have the right to opt their student(s) out of participating.

Below you’ll find information about each survey, including dates, grade levels, purposes, and opt-out options.

If you have any questions about these surveys, please contact your school or the District 51 Student Services Office at 970-986-6011 or via email at Amy.Frazier@d51schools.org.
