Enrolling New Students in District 51

Welcome to School District 51 where we are providing pathways to graduation to ensure student success!

**On March 3, 2020, after a community open-house process to gather input, the Board of Education adopted new boundaries for Fruita area elementary schools to include the newly constructed Monument Ridge.**

Where will my student attend?

Once you have completed the online registration process below, please bring the following information to your school of attendance to complete the enrollment process:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of Residency (examples: utility bill, mortgage statement, etc.)

Students New to District 51

If you do not have an existing ParentVUE account and are new to our district, you will need to create one. Upon creating your account, an email will be sent with further instructions. Email confirmation may take up to 30 minutes; also check your Junk/Spam folders.

  • If your student has previously attended a District 51 school and you DO NOT have a ParentVUE account please, complete the ParentVUE registration form and return it to your student’s school at which time they will create an account for you.

Pre-School

Families wanting to enroll their child in the Universal Pre-School program must be matched with a District 51 pre-school. You can find out more information on UPK in Colorado on the Colorado Department of Education Website.  

 

Kindergarten

Children who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2023, are invited to register for the Fall of 2023-24 school year through our online registration process. Parents will use ParentVUE Online registration for students entering Kindergarten in 2023-24 starting on July 18, 2023.

Parents will be required to provide their child(rens) birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of address (utility bill, bank state, mortgage statement) to their child’s school. Registration will not be finalized without these documents.

  • Parents with students already attending D51 schools will use their existing ParentVUE account.
  • If you have a ParentVUE account and have forgotten your username or password, please log into ParentVUE and request a new password OR contact your student’s school to request this information.
  • New parents will need to create a ParentVUE account (see instructions below).

 

Logging into Online Registration

Current Parents - Login to ParentVUE and follow the prompts through the process.

New Parents to District 51 - Go to the Login to ParentVUE page. When the page displays, click More Options (bottom right) and select Create a New Account. Follow the prompts as you continue through the process of creating an account. An email will be sent to you.

  • Don’t forget to check your junk mail if you don’t see an email.
  • If you don’t receive an email, contact your student’s school.
TIPS
  • If you have a ParentVUE account, log in prior to the Kindergarten Online Registration window to confirm your access.
  • If you have a student enrolled in District 51 and do not have a ParentVUE account, please contact your students' school requesting assistance.
