Grand Junction, CO – After 20 years of service in School District 51, Connie Robbins-Brady is retiring as coordinator of elementary art and the Art Heritage Program. The school district will affirm its commitment to art education by actively seeking a new coordinator for the Art Heritage and elementary art programs. 

More than 250 volunteers participate in Art Heritage programming each year. Volunteers bring prepared art history lessons to elementary classrooms across Mesa County. Anyone interested in becoming an Art Heritage volunteer can call (970) 254-5489. The art coordinator position will be posted soon at d51schools.org. 

The community is invited to attend an Open House retirement party honoring Ms. Robbins-Brady between 2 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018, at the Basil T. Knight Center, 596 N. Westgate Drive in Grand Junction.
